You know the old saying when it rains it pours? Well here in Seattle we just call it Thursday, and at Monocle Society that's just putting it lightly. We’ve got a big update for you, so let's dive in. So about Weave 2018.2 More than just development, what we're doing with Weave is one of the biggest undertakings I've ever experienced. We wanted this one to be right, and after looking at the overlapping feature set from 2018.2 and 2018.3 (Playset Creator, Weave Advanced), it became apparent that there's no way to do either update right if we separate them....

Today is Valentine's Day, a day for partners to celebrate each other and is basically Black Friday for Flower shops and that one company that sells those chalky heart candies. For Monocle Society, it's the one year anniversary when we announced Weave to everyone, and we're keeping our tradition with our next Weave announcement, or rather three Weave announcements. Monocle Society welcomes Nathan Weisman Nate has essentially been born and raised in the tabletop industry and has worked alongside his father Jordan Weisman at Harebrained Schemes doing narrative game design on games like Shadowrun Returns, Golem Arcana, and the upcoming Battletech title....

Today we have multiple announcements, but let's kick it off with the one that we've been waiting to tell everybody; Weave Society. WS comes in two forms, so let's dive in. The first is an organized play group designed for people who have never played roleplaying or storytelling games to experience how much fun it is. We made Weave be the most accessible and inclusive system for newcomers, and we continue our promise by helping our community and local game stores share in this beautiful genre. Welcome to our updated site! We've been working hard on getting Monocle Society ready for 2018, and we can't wait to show you everything that's been going on behind the scenes. It's shaping up to be a fantastic year for storytelling, donuts, and some other fun surprises. For starters let's talk about our new storefront. We received a fantastic response from the tabletop community with Weave: Storytelling Redefined. It became clear shortly after launch, however, that we needed to scale up on our shipping and presence online. We also heard from our fans that they also wanted sweet merchandise and accessories...
